Nikau Cave

Nikau Cave is a glowworm cave situated in the peaceful rural setting of a real farm about 90 minutes south of Auckland. The cave offers a variety of underground conditions ranging from easy walking to a low crawl. A large variety of limestone formations can be seen, including large caverns full of glowworms, stalactites and stalagmites, giant pillars, tiny 'straws', and limestone 'shawls'.
