Nikau Cave
Nikau Cave is a glowworm cave situated in the
peaceful rural setting of a real farm about 90 minutes
south of Auckland. The cave offers a variety of
underground conditions ranging from easy walking to a low
crawl. A large variety of limestone formations can be
seen, including large caverns full of glowworms,
stalactites and stalagmites, giant pillars, tiny
'straws', and limestone 'shawls'.

Discover water sculptured limestone holes, bowls, spires
and cliffs. The fact that you're abseiling through this
area is only part of the thrill. The canyon gets so tight
that it?s almost shoulder distance apart, yet it?s so
deep!
